Job summary

United Contractor Services, LLC is seeking an On-site Assistant Project Manager to work with a seasoned Project Manager on a large commercial interior project. You will be based at the jobsite, handling coordination, documentation, and follow-up to keep the project moving.

Responsibilities include coordinating between PM, field supervision, GC teams, and suppliers; assisting with schedules, submittals, RFIs, and change orders; tracking reports and costs; and helping close out punch lists.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial construction experience in project coordination or similar support role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating between the Project Manager, field supervision, GC teams, and material suppliers
• Helping build and maintain project schedules, plan crew needs, and line up material deliveries to protect timeline and budget
• Processing submittals, RFIs, and change orders; tracking daily reports; keeping project documentation organized and up to date
• Partnering with field leaders on quality and workmanship; carrying punch lists through to closeout
• Tracking installed quantities against job costs and flagging concerns to the PM before they become problems
• Solving problems in real time, such as delayed shipments or conflicts with other trades
