Job summary

United Contractor Services is hiring an On-site Assistant Project Manager to work alongside a seasoned Project Manager on a large, active commercial interior project. You'll be based at the jobsite, handling documentation, coordination, and follow-up that keep a project moving.

You'll learn how a specialty subcontractor manages work from start to closeout. You'll spend time on site as the PM's eyes and ears, coordinating with field leaders, GC teams, and vendors, and ensuring alignment with the

Qualifications

• 1+ year of commercial construction coordination experience.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specs.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
• Experience with Procore or Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between the Project Manager, field supervision, GC teams, and suppliers.
• Help build schedules, plan crew needs, and line up material deliveries.
• Process submittals, RFIs, and change orders; track daily reports.
• Maintain project documentation up to date.
• Support quality and workmanship; carry punch lists to closeout.
• Track installed quantities vs job costs and flag concerns early.
