United Contractor Services is seeking an On-site Assistant Project Manager to join a large commercial interior project. You will work alongside a seasoned Project Manager, serving as the eyes and ears on site to ensure field work matches plans and schedules.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field supervision, GC teams, and suppliers; maintaining schedules and material deliveries; processing submittals, RFIs, and change orders; and supporting closeout with punch lists and cost tracking.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of commercial construction experience in project coordination or project administration.
• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline (field/office experience may substitute).
• Comfort reading construction drawings and specs, or drive to learn quickly.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate between the Project Manager, field supervision, GC teams, and material suppliers.
• Help build and maintain project schedules, plan crew needs, and line up material deliveries to protect timeline and budget.
• Process submittals, RFIs, and change orders; track daily reports; keep project docs organized.
• Partner with field leaders on quality and workmanship; carry punch lists through to closeout.
• Track installed quantities against job costs and flag concerns to PM early.
• Resolve on-site issues (delays, conflicts, approvals) in real time.
