If you've spent time on commercial projects, whether on the GC side or with a specialty subcontractor, and you want a clear path to running your own jobs, this role was built for you. United Contractor Services is hiring an On-site Assistant Project Manager to work alongside a seasoned Project Manager on a large, active commercial interior project. Our scope covers metal framing and drywall, acoustical ceilings, EIFS and stucco, painting, and Division 8 and Division 10 specialties. You'll be based at the jobsite, handling the documentation, coordination, and follow-up that keep a project moving. Along the way you'll learn how a specialty subcontractor manages the work from start to closeout.
You’ll spend most of your time on site as your Project Manager's eyes and ears in the field. You’ll make sure what's happening on the ground matches what's on paper. Day to day, you’ll be:
We are a multi-craft specialty subcontractor headquartered in Kennesaw, Georgia. We're ranked among the Top 50 Walls and Ceilings contractors in North America. We serve clients throughout the United States and deliver projects safely, on schedule, and on budget.
Our strongest Assistant PMs are organized, direct, and proactive. They chase down answers instead of waiting for them to arrive. You'll interact daily with superintendents, GC project engineers, and vendors, so straightforward communication and the ability to hold people accountable matter more than polish. You'll be dedicated to one large, multi‑phase project, which means keeping several phases moving at once while priorities shift as the job progresses.
