Job summary

Qwest Electric LLC in Mooresville, NC is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support medium- to large-scale commercial electrical projects in the Charlotte metro area. You will work alongside Senior Project Managers and field leadership and grow toward a full Project Manager role.

Your duties include coordinating on-site and office tasks, reviewing drawings, schedules, contracts, and submittals; preparing RFIs and change orders; tracking logs; and supporting cost tracking and monthly billing,

Qualifications

• 2+ years in commercial electrical construction, project coordination, or assistant PM work.
• Experience on medium- to large-scale commercial projects.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, or similar tools.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site and office tasks to keep projects organized and moving from startup through closeout.
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, and scope; prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Maintain project logs for RFIs, submittals, procurement, equipment, and changes; assist with cost tracking and monthly billing.
