Job summary

Contractor Network in Greensboro, NC is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager with 4–12+ years in electrical construction management. The role demands ownership of project management duties while ensuring safe execution, strong customer service, disciplined controls, and profitable growth.

Responsibilities include coordinating with field leadership, estimators, vendors, subcontractors and owners; handling RFIs, submittals, change orders, forecasts and billing; tracking costs and risks;

Qualifications

• Electrical construction project management experience appropriate for the position.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, contracts, schedules, and project controls.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• Strong financial, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Project management software experience is beneficial.
• Field or estimating experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical scope, schedule, cost, procurement, documentation, and client commitments.
• Coordinate with field leadership, estimating, vendors, subcontractors, general contractors, and owners.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, forecasts, billing, and correspondence.
• Track project financial performance, committed costs, labor performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Support procurement of major equipment and long-lead materials.
• Lead project meetings and communicate action items.
• Support startup, commissioning, turnover, closeout, and lessons learned.
• Build productive customer and trade-partner relationships while protecting contractual requirements.
