Job summary

Crawford Thomas Recruiting is seeking an organized and proactive Assistant Community Manager to support the daily operations of a residential community in St. Petersburg, FL.

The role focuses on resident relations, rent collections, leasing support, maintenance coordination, and administrative duties. Working with the Community Manager, you will address resident needs, support occupancy, maintain records, and ensure efficient day-to-day operations on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of property management experience.
• Strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Address resident questions and concerns, maintain positive relationships, and assist with community events and activities.
• Prepare bills and statements, track payments, follow up on delinquencies, and coordinate notices and legal actions in accordance with state and Fair Housing requirements.
• Assist with leasing documentation, move-ins, lease renewals, and ensuring homes are ready for occupancy.
• Manage work orders and coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams; ensure completion within 48 hours of receipt.
• Maintain accurate resident records and provide operational support to the Community Manager and on-site team.
• Follow company policies, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable state regulations.
