Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA, is seeking an Assembly Technician for on-site work in a rapidly evolving technology environment. You will perform complex assembly, select materials from kit carts, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives on the manufacturing floor.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with diverse teams. Travel between Fremont facilities and pallet jack usage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships.
• Thorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrates competency in written and verbal English communications to understand safety protocols, hazard communications, and SOPs required to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and advanced assembly of products according to established specifications and instructions.
• Select proper materials from kit carts to complete standard work.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas and 5S principles.
• Use designated inspection equipment to inspect completed work.
• Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Periodically checks products per company policy to ensure quality; resolves any identified problems and alerts appropriate chain of command.
• Could be required to travel to other Bloom facilities within the Fremont locations.
• May be required to use pallet jack as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
