Job summary

Bloom Energy seeks a Process Technician for on-site work in Fremont, CA. The role is day shift with possible evenings/weekends and reports to the Factory Engineering Director.

You will support multiple manufacturing areas, respond to line-down events, adjust parameters, document actions, and ensure safety and quality across the line. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in manufacturing, hands-on thin-film processes, and experience with high-precision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certifications or relevant coursework preferred.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on experience with thin-film processes.
• Hands-on experience with high-precision machinery.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide off-shift coverage of process engineering activities across multiple functional areas for fuel cell manufacturing.
• Respond promptly to production line down scenarios, defects, and inspections.
• Assess root cause, adjust parameters to resume controlled production.
• Document activities appropriately.
• Coordinate containment and countermeasure activities in a cross-functional environment.
• Communicate clearly and send out daily reports to team.
• Ensure workmanship standards and safety compliance.
• Continuously improve efficiency.
