Job summary

Bloom Energy in Fremont, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a fully on-site role, 6am–6pm, Sun–Tue with alternating Wednesdays. The technician will report to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor and support our stack manufacturing equipment on site.

Qualified candidates have 8+ years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and experience with automated equipment, PLC schematics, and I/O diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years' experience in a high capacity manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Automated Equipment.
• Able to read PLC schematics and diagnose issues.
• Able to troubleshoot and correct digital and analog I/O issues.
• Strong trouble-shooting and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment in Stack Manufacturing.
• Perform machine installations or modification per instructions.
• Execute and track preventive maintenance activities.
• Evaluate equipment and create maintenance procedures as requested.
• Suggest improvements for tool set and upgrades to machines.
• Assist with manufacturing when required and support testing group.
