Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in apartment or facilities maintenance preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi/ResMan) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance to keep the community safe and well-maintained.
• Prepare vacant homes for new residents through make-ready and turn processes.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities, and equipment.
• Assist with on-call maintenance and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, inventory, and maintenance activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members to provide excellent service.
• Support inventory management and procurement of maintenance supplies.
