Job summary

Bryten is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Arcade Manor & Yorkshire Corners Sr Apts in Conifer, NY. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, welcoming community and completing timely maintenance tasks.

You will diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other building systems, while performing preventive maintenance and make-readies for new residents. On-site work and on-call rotation may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall, painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and maintenance work orders promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings, and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready and turn).
• Conduct routine inspections for safety and maintenance needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Maintain curb appeal and upkeep of grounds and amenities.
• Keep accurate records of work orders, inspections, and supplies.
