Bryten in Lexington, KY is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to keep our community safe, comfortable, and well cared-for. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and make-ready tasks to prepare homes for new residents.

The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance; HVAC certification is a plus. On-site work, on-call rotation, and strong customer service are key.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred; additional industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience with property management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment, buildings and common areas.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents (make-ready and turn).
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, amenities and equipment for safety and maintenance needs.
• Assist with on-call emergencies and rotate on-call schedule.
• Maintain curb appeal and upkeep of grounds, common areas and amenities.
• Keep accurate records of work orders, inspections, inventory and activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and team members.
