Bryten is seeking a skilled Make-Ready Technician in Tampa, FL to prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents. You will perform repairs, inspections, and cleaning coordination, ensuring move-in readiness and high-quality living spaces.

The role requires ability to read work orders, attention to detail, and reliable transportation. Experience in drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and basic HVAC is preferred; HVAC certs are a plus. On-site with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or vocational training preferred.
• 1+ years apartment maintenance or related experience.
• Experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair.
• HVAC certification or trade certs preferred.
• Ability to read work orders and safety docs.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes for occupancy.
• Repair and maintain drywall, paint, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems.
• Inspect and test HVAC, appliances, and fixtures.
• Follow make-ready checklists to ensure quality and move-in readiness.
• Maintain accurate work orders in management system.
• Assist with grounds, trash, pressure washing as needed.
• Follow OSHA and safety policies.
