Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations at one of our apartment communities. You will lead staff, handle budgeting, and drive leasing and resident satisfaction while collaborating with maintenance and HR.

Strong leadership and communication are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and property management software. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance reviews, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company standards and eviction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or 1-2 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

Responsibilities

• Leads property staff, conducting candidate interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training with office staff on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations
• Motivate associates through recognition, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Prepare month-end and year-end financial reporting with budget variance within +/-10%
• Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and requests promptly
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure prompt service requests
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding high resident service standards
• Analyze market trends and partner with marketing on leasing strategies to hit occupancy/revenue goals
• Follow eviction procedures, notices, court representation, and proceedings as needed
• Manage client/owner relationships with updates and tours
