Job summary

Lyra Technology Group seeks a Forward Deployment AI Engineer for Accellis to deliver production-grade AI agents and automated workflows on-site at client locations. The role blends hands-on engineering with stakeholder communication, embedding with client teams to uncover high-ROI AI opportunities.

You will design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions, using LangChain-like patterns, REST APIs, and cloud services, while enabling clients to maintain and scale post-deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2+ years in software/AI engineering or technical consulting.
• Proficient in Python and REST APIs; familiar with cloud services.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs and agent/workflow patterns.
• Able to travel to client sites regularly in Cleveland/Columbus.

Responsibilities

• Embed with clients to map workflows and identify AI/automation opportunities.
• Design and build AI agents using frameworks and tool-use patterns.
• Develop AI-powered workflows that integrate with clients' existing systems.
• Engineer automation across document processing, data extraction, reporting, and communications.
• Own the full delivery lifecycle from scoping to handoff and documentation.
• Train and enable client teams to maintain and iterate solutions.
