Job summary

LangChain, Inc. is seeking a Deployed Engineer to join our Professional Services team in New York. You will translate enterprise workflows into concrete software specs and guide engineering teams through the resulting solution, or build it for them.

You’ll spend time shaping customer agent architectures and co-building evaluation pipelines with enterprise clients. You are experienced in delivering real AI systems for production and can defend technical tradeoffs while collaborating closely with

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• 2+ years building production agent systems.
• Strong client-facing communication with engineers and CTOs.
• Experience with LangChain/LangGraph/Deep Agents or comparable frameworks and multi-agent patterns.

Responsibilities

• Advising: architecture design, evaluation strategy, and production guidance.
• Building: co-build with the customer’s engineering team across the full ADLC.
• Embedding: serve as a deployed engineer inside the customer’s team to ship agent systems.
• Agent Engineering: ADLC end-to-end, architecture design and deployment.
• Applied AI: post-training, supervised fine-tuning, trace mining, model selection and evaluation.
