Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group seeks an AI datacenter construction leader to drive on-site delivery of Bitdeer’s AI data center projects. You will act as the owner’s on-site representative, coordinating a multi-discipline team across civil, electrical, mechanical, and ELV scopes and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires 10+ years in construction management, with 5+ years on data-center or mission-critical sites, and willingness to travel to active project locations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction management, including 5+ years leading data center or mission-critical sites.
• Experience delivering large, fast-track builds with multiple concurrent trades.
• Working knowledge of civil, structural, MEP, and commissioning on data center projects.
• Proven ability to manage general contractors and trade partners on site.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, PMP, or CCM.
• Willingness to be based on site and to travel to active project locations.
• Earns respect from contractors and crews and leads from the front.
• Decisiveness: makes sound calls quickly when field conditions change.
• Communication: keeps leadership informed with clear, timely updates.
• Accountability: owns the outcome of the site end to end.

Responsibilities

• Owner’s Representative: act as on-site lead and single point of accountability for the build.
• Direct the general contractor and trade partners on safety, quality, productivity, and schedule.
• Run site coordination meetings, look-ahead planning, and site logistics.
• Drive the site schedule and short-interval plans, flag and recover critical-path slippage.
• Review change requests, quantities, and pay applications with cost and procurement.
• Report progress, risks, and issues to the VP, Data Center Construction and the TPM.
• Enforce site safety plans with the EHS Manager and lead by example in the field.
• Verify work against drawings and specifications with the QA/QC Manager.
• Resolve RFIs and field issues quickly with design and engineering.
• Coordinate civil, electrical/HV, mechanical, fiber, and ELV scopes on site.
• Work with local authorities, inspectors, and utilities on permits, inspections, and site access.
• Support commissioning and deliver punch-list closure, as-builts, and turnover.
• Willingness to be based on site and to travel to active project locations.
