Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking an Administrative Services Order Specialist I for our Columbus, Ohio location. This on-site role supports sales reps, customers, and internal staff, with a focus on accurate order processing and timely responses.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 11:00am to 7:30pm. The pay range is $21–$23 per hour, and the benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 0–1 years experience in a customer service, clerical, or similar role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word)
• The ability to communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers in both written and verbal form
• The successful completion of a ninety (90) day orientation period

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service for sales reps, customers, and internal staff as calls are received.
• Manage the flow of orders in the order maintenance queue according to the schedule.
• Manage holds for orders in the pending submissions queue.
• Respond same day to voicemails, emails, and Teams messages received within working hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrative Services Trainer, Assistant Manager, or Manager
