Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is seeking a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Assistant for our Columbus, OH location. The role includes painting, wall mounting, lawn and snow duties, and general upkeep.

This Monday–Friday position runs 2:30pm–11:00pm with a pay rate of $24.00–$26.00 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability coverage, FSA/HSA, 401(k) with match, tuition assistance, paid parental

Qualifications

• Ability to wear safety equipment as provided by management.
• Ability to adapt to varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs all tasks related to warehouse and office cosmetic improvements including painting floors, walls, and trim.
• Wall mounting of pictures, shelves, clocks, etc.
• Mowing grass and shoveling snow; trimming weeds; removing trash.
• Shuts off gas, water, and electric supply in case of an emergency.
• Performs monthly inspections of all fire extinguishers per guidelines.
• Completes items from the maintenance checklist daily.
• Ensures detailed cleanliness of the warehouse and office.

Additional Information

This is a Monday- Friday role. No Weekends! The hours are 2:30pm-11:00pm
