Job summary

Telecare's Tumwater Evaluation & Treatment Center in Tumwater, WA seeks a Peer Recovery Coach I to engage and support members in recovery goals. This on-site role features a 32-hour work week with 8-hour day shifts from Friday to Monday.

Starting wage is $18.69–$22.52 per hour, with the full range going up to $26.36. Telecare emphasizes recovery culture, crisis de-escalation, and collaborative care within a 16-bed acute psychiatric facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members with behavioral health challenges.
• Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care.

Responsibilities

• Engage, inspire, and facilitate conversations to help members explore and meet recovery goals.
• Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare’s Recovery Culture (RCCS).
• Respond to critical situations with de-escalation skills to maintain a least restrictive environment during emergencies.
