Job summary

Adecco is hiring an Accounting Specialist for a manufacturing company in Janesville, WI to support daily accounting operations including invoicing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, financial reporting, and project costing. Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred, or 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts receivable, invoicing, reconciliations, or other general accounting functions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software, databases, and spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing financial reports, including general ledger, cash projections, accounts receivable, and sales and use tax returns.
• Process customer invoices and sales order invoices.
• Post cash receipts and assist with bank reconciliations.
• Review budgets for projects in progress and assist with annual fiscal budgeting.
• Assist with project costing and other accounting functions.
• Access online banking systems to support daily accounting activities.
• Create and update company documents using Microsoft Office.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Assist with additional accounting duties as needed.
