Job summary

Adecco US, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a 5-6 month temporary assignment with a manufacturing partner. The role supports daily accounting operations while the team implements SAP, with training provided in the first two months.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, journal entries, P&L reporting, reconciliations, and using Excel for reporting and analysis, ensuring accurate records and smooth SAP transition.

Qualifications

• Experience as Staff Accountant or similar role.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of AP/AR, journal entries, and P&L reporting.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently after training while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting functions including AP and AR.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Assist with P&L reporting and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Use Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.
• Support month-end close activities.
• Assist with SAP implementation during the project.
