Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for an onsite role in Janesville, WI (53546). The contract is 5+ months with a pay rate of $17.50–$18/hr, paid weekly, and a Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule.

The role entails processing payments, researching discrepancies, responding to customer inquiries, and supporting data entry, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end activities for the Finance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Some college coursework or specialized training preferred.
• 1–2 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organizational, problem-solving and follow-up skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls, process payments, and respond to account questions.
• Review accounts and history before applying payments or credits.
• Apply customer payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform data entry and maintain AR records.
• Assist with journal entries and month-end reconciliations.
• Identify recurring issues and escalate to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain payment info.
• Assist improvements to cash application processes.
