Job summary

DSI Tech in Ashburn, Virginia is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage A/P and A/R, ensuring timely processing, accurate recordkeeping, and efficient financial operations within our corporate team.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, maintain data integrity, and support month-end close and financial projects while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years in a mid-level Accounting Specialist role handling A/P, A/R, and reconciliations.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite accounting module preferred.
• BA/BS in Accounting preferred.
• Credit card reconciliation experience.
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Record, verify, and enter financial transactions to ensure data integrity.
• Manage full A/P and A/R cycles, including invoices, billing, and payments.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy.
• Monthly bank, merchant, and credit card reconciliations.
• Monitor cash receipts and disbursements.
• Process invoices, expense reports, investigator payments, and card transactions.
• Provide excellent client service and resolve issues.
• Support various accounting projects and maintain confidentiality.
