Herr Foods Inc. is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager to lead the AP, AR, and Master Data teams in Nottingham, PA. This on-site role focuses on strong internal controls, process discipline, and scalable operations to support a growing manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on leadership, ERP systems expertise (Microsoft Dynamics preferred), and a continuous-improvement mindset to drive efficiency and data integrity across accounting operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of accounting operations, shared services, or transactional finance experience.
• Prior people leadership experience.
• Experience leading AP, AR, and master data functions.
• CPA or other certification is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead AP, AR, and Master Data teams with strong daily execution and development.
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes: invoicing, payments, vendor maintenance, approvals.
• Manage AR operations: invoicing support, cash application, collections, deductions.
• Ensure governance of master data across customers, vendors, items.
• Strengthen internal controls and standardize processes with cross‑functional partners.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for AP/AR/master data and drive improvements.
• Drive efficiency, reduce manual work, and scale processes.
• Support ERP, workflow, automation, and reporting tool projects impacting accounting operations.
• Provide coaching and development to a 12-person team.
