Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Close & Financial Reporting Manager to lead the month-end close and financial reporting for our Nottingham, PA team.

This on-site role will partner with operations and supply chain to ensure accurate costing, robust controls, and timely insights for business leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong month-end close leadership, hands-on standard costing experience, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; 7+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close.
• Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.

Responsibilities

• Own, lead, and optimize monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with accurate journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and financial statements.
• Manage internal and external financial reporting, including management reporting and required deliverables.
• Own standard costing processes: setting standards, analyzing variances, supporting inventory valuation.
• Analyze manufacturing variances and partner with operations to improve accuracy and visibility.
• Coordinate close calendars and deliverables to ensure disciplined, efficient close.
• Support audit requests related to financial reporting, close activities, inventory, and standard costing.
