Job summary

M1 Global, embedded in a client security operations center in Santa Monica, is hiring an Access Control Administrator. This on-site role manages the badge lifecycle and access requests, ensuring authorization is validated and records reconciled monthly.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, eight hours daily, five days a week, with an hourly wage of $32.00–$35.50. Experience with LenelS2 OnGuard, Jira, Milestone, and enterprise ticketing platforms is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Three+ years in access control or security systems administration with enterprise platform experience.
• Hands-on administration of LenelS2 OnGuard or similar access control systems, including cardholder, reader and access level configurations.
• Experience running access reviews, reconciliation and closing discrepancies.
• Demonstrated habit of validating approvals before provisioning and avoiding verbal shortcuts.
• Service desk or ticket queue management against turnaround targets.
• Ability to generate clear access and badge reports for non-technical requesters.
• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred but not required.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to pass required background/security screening.

Responsibilities

• Own the badge lifecycle and the access request queue as a dedicated function.
• Validate approvals before provisioning and reconcile access records monthly.
• Maintain cardholder data, photographs, affiliations and expirations.
• Process access requests through a tracked queue to published targets.
• Produce access and badge reports for partner functions following documented authorization paths.
• Keep door, reader and access level configurations aligned with site reality.
• Support audits with retrievable records of granted access and authority.
