Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is seeking a Key Holder to provide on‑shift leadership and ensure a welcoming store environment for shoppers and donors. The role involves supporting POS transactions, maintaining merchandising standards, and guiding associates during assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of supervisory experience in retail or related fields, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years supervisory or lead experience in retail, warehouse, or logistics environments preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with ability to guide associates and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on‑duty key holder, support store opening/closing, and ensure store readiness.
• Provide visible on‑floor leadership to guide associates and support shift execution.
• Communicate priorities and issues to store leadership during handoffs.
• Escalate complex customer, donor, safety, or operational concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; support store operations as needed.
• Reinforce cleanliness, shelf readiness, and safe operations across shopper and donor areas.
