Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. in Bellevue seeks a Key Holder to lead on-shift activities, support opening and closing routines, and ensure the store is ready for shoppers and donors.

You will guide associates, reinforce merchandising standards, assist with POS transactions, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment while upholding Goodwill’s mission of Changing Lives through Education, Training, and Employment.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Experience: 1–2 years supervisory in production/warehouse/retail/logistics.
• Skills: strong communication, organization, and ability to train staff.
• Other: forklift certification preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-duty key holder, supporting opening/closing and store readiness.
• Provide on-floor leadership to guide associates and ensure shift execution.
• Escalate issues to store leadership and maintain safe, clean, organized store.
• Support POS and front-end activities with friendly service and efficient flow.
• Maintain signage, price accuracy, fixture organization, and product presentation.
• Coach associates to greet shoppers and donors professionally.
• Lead opening/closing routines and recovery to keep the store in grand-opening condition.
