Job summary

UPS, a Fortune Global 500 company, seeks a Service Supervisor in Fairbanks, Alaska to oversee on-road teams, ensure safe, timely deliveries, and drive continuous process improvements. You will supervise dispatch, coach staff, and maintain health and safety standards while using performance metrics to meet targets.

Required: DOT certification, UPS Package Car driving experience, a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent, and flexibility to work up to five days per week in a full-time

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• DOT-certified and willing to complete a physical exam, including a driving test.
• Must have UPS Package Car driving experience.
• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree).
• Must be located in the Fairbanks, AK area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Manage and work with on-road employees to maximize efficiency and ensure packages are delivered safely, timely, and professionally.
• Facilitate execution of the daily dispatch plan and perform on-road supervision and audit rides.
• Maintain operational performance by developing and implementing effective work process plans.
• Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to employees; conduct performance evaluations.
• Foster a collaborative work environment through effective communication and relationship building.
• Apply safety and regulatory knowledge to minimize organizational risk; maintain health and safety programs.
