Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee on-road personnel and ensure safe, timely package delivery with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance. The role requires DOT certification, driving experience with UPS packages, and willingness to work flexible shifts.

The position emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and cost monitoring while maintaining customer-focused operations and a safe work environment. Candidates should be prepared for the physical demands and ongoing safety training.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National, or eligible to work in the U.S.
• DOT certification required and driving test willingness
• Bachelor's Degree or internationally comparable degree
• Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs and work flexible shifts (up to 5 days)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily performance of service providers to ensure safe, timely, and professional package delivery
• Develop and implement work plans; troubleshoot inefficiencies and monitor costs
• Maintain health and safety plans and conduct risk management audits
• Provide feedback and coaching; conduct performance evaluations and develop others
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety requirements; uphold customer relationships
• Assist in workforce planning and talent attraction strategies
