Empire Distributors Inc. is seeking an On-Premise Sales Representative to sell spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic products to bars and restaurants within a defined territory.

The role involves proposing products, managing accounts, and meeting distribution targets. The candidate will learn account standards for POS and wine/drink lists, travel daily within the territory, quote prices, and resolve delivery issues with supervisors and managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: Associate's degree or equivalent; or 6 months to 1 year related experience.
• Ability to sustain a current Alcohol Sales Permit from Georgia Dept. of Revenue.
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with order processing systems.

Summary

Sells spirits, wine, beer and non-alcoholic products to bars and restaurants for wholesale distributor by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Learns and executes the On-Premise accounts standards for POS, Back Bar placements, wine list and drinks list minimum in each account.

Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.

Travels through assigned territory daily to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, present items for distribution, and handle damages and off-condition product.

Quotes prices and credit terms for orders obtained.

Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.

Confers with District Manager to resolve customer problems.

Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries.

Identifies and respond to customers' needs.

Maintains frequent and open communication with drivers, driver supervisors, district managers, sales managers and the general manager.

Prepares and/or maintains distribution tracking reports, planning and goals, case quotas and dollar objectives and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Executes sales plans and maintain accounts according to company standards.

Tracks progress of goals on a weekly basis.

Participates in supplier work-withes.

Continually maintains training and product knowledge.

Spends time in the trade with Key Sales reps or DM’s

Covers open territories when needed.

Delivers emergency orders w when needed.

Attends trade shows.

Conducts business according to local and state laws.

Performs merchandising duties as needed or upon request.

Other duties as assigned by District Manager.

Education and/or Experience

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must have the ability to sustain a current and valid Alcohol Sales Permit from the Georgia Department of Revenue.

Computer Skills

• Basic computer knowledge and Knowledge of Order Processing Systems
