Job summary

Constellation Brands is seeking an On-Premise Representative in Washington, DC to build and maintain strong relationships with bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues within the on-premise channel. You will drive sales, expand draft and package placements, and boost brand visibility for the Constellation beer portfolio.

You will educate account staff and consumers, plan events and samplings, and activate marketing programs while delivering regular reporting to sales leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• Approximately 1 year of results-oriented outside sales or food & beverage experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Motor Vehicle Record check required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Strong interpersonal skills and brand ambassador mindset.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Able to travel domestically for meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with on-premise accounts in the territory.
• Achieve sales targets and distribution goals for draft and package formats.
• Conduct regular account visits for placement, stock rotation, and POS execution.
• Identify new business opportunities to grow Constellation Brands’ presence.
• Plan and execute on-premise events, samplings, staff trainings and promotions.
• Educate staff and consumers on product features and benefits.
• Conduct samplings at events and retail accounts; drive brand activation.
• Monitor market trends and report insights to sales leadership.
• Maintain records of sales calls, activities, and expenses.
