Job summary

Brighton Resort is seeking an IT Specialist to support its technology infrastructure and ensure smooth operations for staff and guests. The role covers desktop and network support, system administration assistance, and on-mountain IT tasks across the resort.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, customer-service oriented, and comfortable in an active mountain environment, with weekend and possible night work as required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications is required.
• Knowledge of CAT5 cabling and T568B wiring standards is a plus.
• Ability to use basic hand tools is required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.
• Ability to ski or snowboard at or above beginner level to perform on-mountain tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop PC support to Brighton Resort employees and customers.
• Assist with administering and maintaining production servers and enterprise applications that support Brighton Resort’s operations.
• Install and/or replace network devices such as switches, wireless access points, wireless bridges, webcams, printers, phones, etc.
• Maintain network cabling infrastructure (indoor and outdoor). Repair or replace defective wiring.
• Maintain stocks of consumable supplies.
• May be assigned additional tasks.
