Job summary

Brighton Resort seeks an IT Specialist to support our technology infrastructure for employees and guests across mountain and base areas. This hands-on role covers desktop and network support, system administration assistance, and maintaining IT and communications systems.

The ideal candidate is reliable with strong customer service skills and comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-mountain environment.

Qualifications

Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows and Office is required.
Knowledge of CAT5+ cabling and T568B wiring standard is a plus.
Ability to use basic hand tools is required.
Ability to use logic and resources to solve problems is required.
Ski industry or on-mountain IT experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for insurance.
Ability to ski or snowboard at/beginner level for on-mountain tasks.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop PC support to Brighton Resort employees and customers.
Communicate effectively with technical and business teams and guests.
Assist with administering and maintaining production servers and enterprise applications.
Install or replace network devices (switches, access points, bridges, webcams, printers, phones).
Maintain indoor/outdoor network cabling; repair/replace wiring; support renovations or new construction.
Maintain stocks of consumable supplies.
May be assigned additional tasks.
