Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Ranch is seeking a Pizza Baker to create specialty pizzas and pizzas ‘to order’ in the on-mountain yurt and various mountain locations. You will support food preparation and cooking for outlets, with a passion for cooking and guest service. Skiing or snowboarding to the pizza yurt is required.

The role emphasizes pizza dough and sauce preparation, menu collaboration with the F&B team, and ability to adapt to different outlets, including event staffing and peak season needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Culinary school preferred for pizza artisanship.
• Experience cooking in a restaurant, preferably artisan pizza.
• Valid driver’s license and food safety certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep station clean, sanitized, and stocked for shift.
• Prepare and store pizza dough and sauces; preps accoutrements for specialty pizzas.
• Train other cooks in proper pizza preparation and execution.
• Ensure quality of products and maintain timing/standards set by F&B management.
• Collaborate with F&B team for menu development; test new recipes with feedback and food cost in mind.
• Support other F&B outlets as business levels require; cook at special events as needed.
