Job summary

Wasatch Peaks Ranch is seeking a Lead Baker to oversee daily bakery operations across the property’s restaurants and venues. You will produce breads, pastries, desserts, and specialty items from scratch and ensure quality, consistency, and presentation.

Collaborate with culinary leadership to meet production needs and events. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional baking experience, strong knowledge of bread and pastry techniques, and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple

Qualifications

2+ years of professional baking experience in a restaurant, hotel, resort, private club, bakery, or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of bread production, fermentation, dough handling, pastry techniques, and baking fundamentals.
Experience producing scratch-made breads and baked goods at a professional level.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to train and lead bakery staff and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily production and operation of the bakery across all outlets.
Produce scratch-made breads, rolls, pastries, desserts, and specialty items.
Plan daily and weekly production schedules based on events, reservations, and business levels.
Maintain consistent quality, flavor, texture, and presentation of all products.
Train and mentor bakery staff; enforce food safety, labeling, dating, and sanitation.
Monitor inventory and costs; reduce waste and overtime where possible.
