Job summary

Southern States, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Training Manager to coordinate, deliver, and document training for manufacturing staff across Hampton and Griffin, GA. The role partners with HR, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to implement onboarding, qualification, cross-training, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.

This hands-on position requires on-site presence at both locations, with flexibility for multiple shifts and early/late hours as needed to support training across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing or industrial settings with training responsibility.
• Experience in coaching or leading manufacturing staff.
• Experience creating training matrices and on-the-job programs.
• Ability to read SOPs, drawings, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate training on onboarding, safety, quality, and performance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and SMEs to identify skill gaps and improve productivity.
• Create structured on-the-job training, one-point lessons, and checklists.
• Coordinate floor training and onboarding across shifts.
• Coach employees and provide feedback to ensure standardized work.
• Maintain training records, matrices, and compliance documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through training design.
• Ensure safety procedures and PPE guidelines are reinforced.
