Job summary

Great Dane is seeking a Technical Trainer for our Statesboro, GA manufacturing facilities. The role focuses on on-the-job training, standard work, and building skills to support employee retention and safety.

The TT trains, audits, and maintains training processes for supervisors and new hires, using training software and data to drive improvements. Travel is minimal; strong collaboration with operations and onboarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; college preferred.
• Experience: 1-3+ years relevant work or training.
• Proficient with MS Office; data collection and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Train station-specific staff on safety, quality and efficiency per standard work.
• Monitor OJT and trainer performance; provide feedback to management.
• Interact with employees to gauge performance and skill retention.
• Audit training records and compare results.
• Maintain training matrices and data reports.
• Coordinate with onboarding for station and new employee needs.
• Assist in evaluating new employees for placement.
• Support conflict resolution and be a sounding board for new staff.
