Job summary

GRTC Transit System in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Mobility Supervisor to oversee on-demand Microtransit services and support Paratransit field operations. You will coach Operators, enforce safety protocols, and respond to incidents to ensure reliable service.

Reporting to the Lead Mobility Supervisor, you will help promote operational excellence, performance metrics, and a strong safety culture across mobility services and vendor collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in transportation management, planning, logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation operations.
• Experience with passenger transport preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of instruction/direction-based leadership experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT medical card (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily assignments and schedules for Microtransit Operators.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Respond to incidents and service disruptions in real time.
• Assist with onboarding and training for Operators.
• Maintain records of attendance and performance.
