Job summary
Axiom Technologies is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for enterprise clients in Rio Rico, Arizona. You will respond to service requests, assist with desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues, and ensure timely, accurate service delivery.
This contract-based, on-demand position requires independent work at client sites, with no guaranteed hours and prompt availability for assignments.
Qualifications
- Proficient with Windows desktop environments and updates.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and replacing components.
- Basic networking knowledge including LAN connectivity.
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Strong communication and customer service for on-site support.
- Ability to work independently at client sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at client location.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and enterprise software.
- Assist with network connectivity issues and LAN troubleshooting.
- Set up devices and replacement hardware as needed.
- Document activities and report updates to the service delivery team.
- Follow client IT policies and security procedures on site.
