Job summary

Target is seeking an On-Demand Guest Advocate to welcome guests, assist with products, and promote loyalty programs. This role offers a flexible schedule with shifts posted by store leaders and peers via the myTime app, and you’ll be expected to respond promptly and work when business demands.

You will learn Target’s service standards, assist with scanning and bagging, and help guests with returns and loyalty sign-ups while supporting Order Pick Up/Drive Up services.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring, and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments
• Greet guests at various distances and initiate helpful interactions
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you
• Support peers and assist in other areas as needed
• Adjust to guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring experience
• Demonstrate service culture by meeting Target’s service standards
• Scan and bag items efficiently and safely
• Inform guests about brand launches and store activities
• Assist guests with Wallet and Target App features and enrollment
• Process returns per policy and escalate to leaders when needed
• Deliver service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean work area and stock supplies during open hours
• Comply with safety policies and training
• Participate in a compliant, respectful work environment
• All other duties based on business needs
