About On Demand

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule that varies based on store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile scheduling app. Your active engagement—picking up shifts and responding to contact—is required to maintain employment. You must work at least one shift every 4-6 months to avoid termination, with the specific requirement changing from 6 to 5 months starting December 2024.

Participation involves attending a Target Welcome orientation and completing a short-term training schedule. Afterward, shifts are available through the myTime app.

Role and Responsibilities

Guest Advocates focus on creating a positive guest experience through excellent service, problem-solving, and engagement with store products and services. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, processing transactions, maintaining store cleanliness, supporting various guest services, and ensuring safety and compliance.
