ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule based on store needs and shift availability. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can pick up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Your active engagement by working shifts and responding to contact attempts is required. Regular attendance involves working at least one shift every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours), with some flexibility for personal circumstances. You must work at least one shift within 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to avoid termination.

Participation in a Target orientation and training is mandatory. Afterward, shifts are scheduled through the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates focus on delivering exceptional service, engaging with guests, and promoting store offerings, ensuring a welcoming and efficient shopping experience. Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Prioritize guest service by delivering the service standard
  • Greet guests authentically and observe body language to assist proactively
  • Engage with guests to understand their needs and offer solutions
  • Be knowledgeable about store products, services, and digital tools
  • Process transactions efficiently and accurately, including returns and using store technology
  • Assist with store operations such as stocking, maintaining a clean environment, and supporting guest services like Order Pick Up and Drive Up
  • Support safety, compliance, and cash handling procedures
  • Perform other duties as needed based on business needs
Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, energetic environment, have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a helpful attitude. Ability to operate technology devices and work independently or as part of a team is essential.

Additional Requirements
  • Accurate cash handling and support for cash office operations
  • Ability to lift merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Active engagement in shift work via the myTime app
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts
