All about On Demand: You can work as much or as little as you like, with a flexible schedule based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but can pick up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement is required, including responding to contact attempts and working at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Effective December 2024, you must work at least once within 5 months to avoid termination.

Attendance and responsiveness are critical. You will attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete training to prepare for your role. The myTime app allows you to select shifts that suit you.

Guest Advocates focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly interaction, problem-solving, and knowledge of store services and products. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with inquiries, processing transactions, and promoting Target’s benefits and programs.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent guest service by greeting and assisting guests
• Understanding guest needs through body language and questions
• Using knowledge of store tools, products, and services to resolve issues
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Supporting fulfillment services like Order Pickup and Drive Up
• Following safety and compliance policies

• Enjoyment in interacting with guests and making their experience enjoyable
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Willingness to learn about products and services

Basic requirements:

• Handling cash and supporting cash office operations
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active engagement in shift work via the myTime app
