ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule but can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app that fit your availability.

Active engagement is required: picking up and working shifts, and responding to our contact attempts. We will contact you throughout the year to confirm your interest. Lack of response may lead to employment termination.

Regular attendance is necessary. You must work at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted if unable to work once every 4 weeks due to personal circumstances. Starting December 2024, this period will be reduced to 5 months.

Your communication and ability to work when needed are critical to success in this role.

If offered a position, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term training schedule are required. Afterward, shifts can be picked via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Guest Advocates welcome, thank, and exceed guest expectations through interaction and recovery. They are knowledgeable about store capabilities and features to drive adoption and loyalty. They make shopping quick and easy at checkouts, guest services, gift registry, and fulfillment areas.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Delivering excellent guest service
• Greeting guests authentically

• Assisting with loyalty programs and digital features
• Handling returns and de-escalating issues
• Supporting order pickup and drive-up services
• Maintaining a clean work area and stocking supplies
• Following safety and compliance standards
• Supporting cash operations and other duties as needed

Additional expectations:

• Handling cash accurately and supporting cash office tasks
• Safely handling merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds
• Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Active participation in shift work via the myTime app every 4 weeks (or 5 months from December 2024)
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and remain mobile during shifts
