ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with flexible scheduling based on store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime mobile app. Active engagement in picking up and working shifts is required, with a minimum of one shift every 6 months (or 5 months starting December 2024) to maintain employment.

Participation includes attending a Target Welcome orientation and completing a short-term training schedule. The myTime app is used for shift selection.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations through guest interaction and recovery. Knowledgeable about store capabilities and features that drive loyalty, and empowered to make shopping quick and easy at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, and pick-up/delivery options.

A typical day involves:

  • Delivering excellent guest service
  • Genuinely greeting guests
  • Observing and engaging with guests to assist them
  • Knowing store tools, products, and services to resolve issues
  • Scanning and bagging efficiently, maintaining safety standards
  • Minimizing wait times while ensuring accuracy
  • Promoting Target loyalty programs and fulfillment services
  • Using Target App features to assist guests
  • Handling returns, de-escalating issues, and supporting guest services
  • Maintaining a clean work area and supporting store operations

  • Handling cash and supporting cash office operations
  • Safely moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Active engagement with shift pickup via myTime app every 4-6 months
  • Working in varying temperatures and remaining mobile during shifts
