ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or team members via our myTime mobile scheduling app. You are expected to actively engage by picking up and working shifts and responding to our contact attempts.

Regular attendance and active engagement are necessary, with a minimum of one shift every 4 weeks (or 5 months effective December 2024). You must respond to contact attempts to confirm your interest. Failure to work at least one shift within the required timeframe may result in administrative termination.

Participation in a Target Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule is required. Afterward, shifts can be picked up via the myTime app.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT

As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on guest interaction and recovery, promoting digital and in-store services, and ensuring a quick, easy shopping experience. Skills developed include communication, problem-solving, adaptability, and product knowledge.

Typical responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, assisting with products and services, handling returns, de-escalating issues, maintaining a clean work area, supporting guest services, and ensuring safety and compliance.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Ideal candidates enjoy a dynamic, team-oriented environment, are passionate about guest service, and are comfortable interacting with people. They should possess effective communication skills, attention to detail, a helpful attitude, and the ability to operate technology and work independently or in teams.

Additional expectations include handling cash operations, lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds, flexible scheduling, reliable attendance, and the ability to work in varying environmental conditions.
