ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand TM, with a flexible schedule that varies based on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be scheduled in advance but will create your schedule by picking up shifts via our myTime app. Active engagement, including responding to contact attempts and working at least once every 4 weeks (or 5 months after December 2024), is required to maintain employment. You must work at least one shift within 6 months to avoid termination.
Upon offer, attendance at a Target Welcome orientation and participation in short-term training are required. The myTime app allows you to select shifts that suit your availability.
ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT
As a Guest Advocate, you will focus on creating an exceptional guest experience through interaction, problem-solving, and promoting store services. Responsibilities include greeting guests, understanding their needs, assisting with product and service information, and ensuring efficient checkout processes.
Typical duties involve demonstrating service standards, engaging with guests, managing returns, and supporting various store functions, all while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Ideal candidates enjoy working in a lively environment, providing excellent service, and engaging with guests. You should be comfortable interacting with people, solving concerns, and working in a fast-paced setting, especially on weekends and holidays.
Key skills include effective communication, attention to detail, a helpful attitude, and the ability to operate technology tools. Flexibility, reliability, and physical ability to lift merchandise up to 44 pounds are also required.
We provide comprehensive training to develop your skills as a Guest Advocate, but prior effective communication, focus, and a welcoming attitude are essential from the start.
